I want to think again of dangerous and noble things. I want to be light and frolicsome. I want to be improbable and beautiful and afraid of nothing as though I had wings.-Mary Oliver

The beauty of a full choir felt in a fall day,
Every red and gold leaf a singer in the chorus.
Like the birds overhead, my heart longs to fly,
As the ground beneath my feet, I feel I could never die.
Give me a song, any song and I’ll sing it.
All of nature has a song, they’ve asked the wind to bring it.
They’ll take it up, make it up, raise it up high,
Every stanza will ring true, since nature cannot lie.
Their song will sound out like the bells that ever peal.
I will hear them singing, I’ll hear them and I’ll feel,
The beauty of a full choir felt in a fall day,
And every single leaf will be singing in the chorus.

This is how I feel when I go outside on those perfect fall days. I hope it takes you outside too.
