independent
Red, White, and blue
The colors spread,
like wild fire untamed,
It just grows and grows,
Brings life to the old place,
That was once so dull and blue,
That we call home,
It reveals excitement in every way,
The heat blazes,
All over the island,
The food never ending,
Hidden in the mouths,
The fun always there,
Ready to be uncovered,
Excitement like a flower prepared To bloom,
Sometimes it rains,
Sometimes it don't,
It all depends on the independent Life of the island,
All of this in one,
Medium sized unordinary,
Old flag stuck on the wall.
