All I want is a day to be myself,
a day to be free.
A day away from the books on the shelf,
a day to be me.
I want my feet in the pond,
in the Colorado range.
A day that goes above and beyond,
and not in a cage.
A day to look at my 4 legged friends,
to see their true beauty and be inspired
To see all sorts of wild horse blends,
of this I will never get tired.
I shall make up a song,
of all the beautiful things I see,
My day will be quite long,
my day to be free.
