Hide From Time

My dear love,

When was the last time that you wished upon a star?

When was the last time that you didn't have to care?

My dear love,

How long has it been since you held a hand,

And felt the love of that person flower inside you?

Let's run away tonight,

Play hide-and-seek with the world.

We'll hide ourselves from time,

Behind a curtain of our compassion.

And love forever under a moonlit sky...

This is absolutely beautiful! I love it so much. I wish I could hide from time, there never seems to be enough of it.

I really like this; it flows very well, and I like the repetion of "my dear love", it sounds so simple and so touching. Great job!

Could you please read some of my work (especially my poem "Deceit"), rate, and tell me what you think? I really need some constructive critisizm :)
