Freelancee .
Confused, is what I am,
Because You chose mine out of all the other plans.
You picked me up, with no intention of setting me down,
It's funny how we're always walking hand in hand.
I know You would never let me drown,
But I seem to just keep swimming down.

Down, Down, into the tunnel of sin,
But You still always ask if I can let You in.

I open the door and we share many happy moments,
But then he creeps in too,
 It's Him, The Opponent.
He brings back those terrible memories of sinful desires that I think I cant resist,
So the Righteous Man walks out with tears on his lids.

I have a periodic moment of joy,
Before my opponent comes again to collect my Due.
 They say whatever he giveth,
 he taketh away from you.

So here I am, all broken and battered,
There's a knock on the door,
 Hmmm so I still Flatter?
I open the door and to my surprise,
the Righteous Man is standing with Desire in His eyes.
With No Doubt, I bring Him in.

Now, My Life Is Whole Again.
