Warmth
Sometimes I wish
I could simply crawl into
My tabby cat's ear,
And for awhile just disappear.
As you know it's very toasty
Inside the ear of a kitty,
And escape this disease,
which wraps its icy, cold, unforgiving fingers around my body.
Turning me blue and purple,
Slowly stopping the blood from flowing,
Sucking the life out of my veins.
Thank you, Raynaud's disease.
But thank you Cat, for your warm, safe ear,
And thank you Cat, for accepting my tears.
