I wish you would notice,
The way I fix my hair,
Whenever you walk into the room.
I wish you could feel the urge I feel,
To brush your hair out of your eyes,
As you arch your back over your book.
I wish you could feel my cheeks heat,
When the other girls lean over your desk,
Whispering things unknown.
I wish you could feel my heart thud,
Every time you make me laugh,
And your eyes twinkle like stars.
I wish I wish I wish you knew,
How much I’m really in love,
With you.
