I live in a cruel world
Where light is dark
Where love is hate
Where envy is accepted
And multiplied

Where life is hard to hold on one’s shoulders
And death is an easy load
A world where the kindest of people are your worst enemy
And so are the people you’re close to
A world where comfort is hardly found
Where lies are okay
Where the truth means Nothing!
And everyone sits around and takes the pain
Takes the lies and hate
And think it's natural
And those who don't are considered to be from another world
They're alienated
They're ostracized
They are not accepted as being normal
Because they refuse to writhe in pain
In terror
In hate
In. . . .
In. . . .
Oh what a world WE live in!
One where us
The people
Can accept its every God given flaw
Yet, not recognize and accept the flaws in ourselves and each other
Oh it's okay
Our world is full of hypocrites
I myself am a hypocrite
But it's okay
It's all okay
Because this world is hypocritical
Though, I am not okay with that
It does not matter
Because we can't change who we are
Who we are in this world
Because we are not even ourselves
So I sit and rock in my corner
And cry my eyes out
And pray to God
But still nothing changes
So I just live and die
And whatever the Heck I Do!
Because I'm a citizen of this world
Though, I'm not proud
It doesn't matter
Because like everyone else in this world
I have to get up and move
And act like me
In this hypocritical
This hateful
This mocking
