this disease
has overtaken me
no longer can i see

i can no longer stand heart in hand
so i put this pen to paper
because this way is always safer

I'm standing on edge
awaiting my fall
patiently waiting to hear my name called
once i hear my name
to the heavens i will soar
on wings i will fly
up in the clouds
with the angels
i will rest in peace.
