tentatively
uncertain if she is ready
for the battle that lays ahead
she takes her stance
determination
spreads across her weary face
she has faced this adversary many times before
he knows her strengths and worse
her weakness
but she knows the one the one thing
that will tame the beast
he falls to the ground
DEAD
as the last knots in her
hair are defeated
