Slowly
Your steps measured
Prudent
You know they're watching
Because their eyes burn
But
You are proud
Chin up, shoulders back
And they won't see anything
Except
What you want them to see
This is your cross
Your burden
And you were born to show it
You're royal
You're crowned
So your steps never falter
Careful and clipped
You walk

I've always thought that the elegance, or even the lack thereof, that people carried themselves with was a telling sign of their burden, of what they strive to accomplish, whatever that may be. I have just always thought that, in your own way, you are the royal in your life, making the decisions and taking the big steps in life, despite, or maybe in spite of, what people think/feel about it.
