I fall
Always for the dirt bags
Always expecting a happy ending
Never getting one. Not at all

I learn
lessons I didn’t want to be taught
lessons unlike Math or Science
But about love and how bad you can be burned

I see
those happy couples
that don’t realize how hard it is
too find love, to be loved for being me

I hate
so deep, expressing nothing out loud
letting the anger consume me
letting it take over my laugh. Some day it’ll be too late.

I hope
I can be me without being hated
without being looked down at
without having to suffer.
