I see her in the mirror
Not really sure who she is
All I know about her
She looks like me
Same hair, same eyes
Same nose, same frown
Same hand rising up
Yet I know nothing
Her hobbies, her life
Her pain, her anger
Who she is, I don't know
I know she was then
I know I am now
She tries to call out
But I cannot hear
I see her trying to reach
Never getting past that wall
Separating us forever
Good-bye whoever you are
You were then
I am now

I've recently gone through a big change in my life and it's made me look at my past and realize I'm not the same girl. I don't hurt anymore, I don't cry half as much and I am genuinely happy. I can't say I miss the old me.
