The Horse Of Night
He spreads his wings and takes his flight
And gallops through the summer night
He's agile, fragile, beautiful
He is the flying horse of night
Amongst clouds this creature does sail
Behind him flows his silken tail
Across grasslands, across vast sands,
Above the moon's white woven veil
He flies alone through the night time sky
Beneath nothing he dare underlie
He is too proud, of course, you see
When he soars up, so high, so high
But when the night is swept away,
Begins once more a brand new day,
A sunlight ray, comes out, so gay
The horse of night gallops away.
