"Ma'm, are you okay?" (southern accent)

I am from
Hot summer days and
Harsh winter months

I am from
Jumping in mud puddles to
ruining my clothes

From running in the rain to
Not sleeping during thunderstorms

I am from
Rushing down ski slopes to
Peeling in the sun

Fishing in the lake to
Tipping the canoe

I am from
Nights spent under the stars to
Reading by lamplight

Getting lost in the mall to
Hiding under clothes racks

I am from
Running through cornfields and
Laughing the loudest

Playing tag with my cousins,
Jumping over hay bails and
Catching snakes with our bare hands

I am from
Staying up to watch Glee and
Falling asleep with the t.v. on

Running around with my friends
Talking about nothing and
Laughing about everything

I am from
Helping each other up to
Pushing each other down

Swimming in the ocean,
Getting sand in my hair and
Never wanting to go home

I am from
Daring Hailey to eat dirt
And screaming when she does it

I am from
Running through the woods to
Falling on my face

Calling my friends on the phone and
Talking 'til the battery dies

I am from
"This is so fun!" to
"Ma'am, are you okay?"

I am from
horses to cowboy boots
and stacking up hay

I am from
All the things that make me, me and
All my friends that make life fun
