Without You
I hear the whispers from the dark,
being without you is tearing me apart.
I always wondered what I'd do,
 being separated, away from you.
I guess I'll put it to rest,
without you I'm me at best.

Living in the shadows of our past,
the words I speak could be my last.
Having nothing left I don't try,
to find someone to help me by.
 Though I could do better,
 I listened to your lies,
Hearing you say you're the best i could do,
I started to believe, but now I'm through.

I stepped out into the light,
and saw a girl oh, so right.
Seeing her for the first time,
I forgot about you and your binds.
I asked her to be mine,
she smiled and said that'd be fine.

 I look back to you,
and thank you for you lead me to,
 the perfect girl who,
taught me the meaning of love.
