one step forward and two steps back
that has always been my life
but you walked in and held my hand
a light flashed in your eyes
I knew things were different
you wouldn't hurt me like them
everyone laughs as the say "you'll never last"
but they didn't know a love like ours
a love that made you cry
when you had to say goodbye
I will just hug you and not watch you leave
because soon again everyone will see
everything we're meant to be
i won't ever say goodbye
forever and ever that's my wish
