midnight snacking

Midnight snacking isn't for me
gotta see what I eat
you can't even see what was here,
so now it's gone...
and you don't even know it,
you're so below it.
So forget it,
even though it hurts
gotta let you go
I can't see whats real
that I could never have you
even if I could,
someone else already grabbed you.
Snagged you, she stole you,
but you go night fishing,
night clubbing,
can't see a butterfly beyond fireflies.
a shooting star is too fast to grab.
Can't see a child pray for you in the dark.
Spending a night alone at the park.
Midnight snacking isn't for me,
it's for an owl.
I guess you two have something in common,
congrats, take a bow.

Wow, I love this poem, especially the last part with "can't see a butterfly beyond fireflies". Great job! :)
