As the water startled my skin,
As my eyes welcomed the sun,
Your face haunted my memory,
My one true love.

As the voices surrounded me,
As I gave in to the fear,
You readily wisped me away,
My one true love.

As the sun whispered, “Goodnight”
As stars enveloped the sky,
You surpassed all of my wishes,
My one true love.

Short and sweet; the imagery was beautiful, and I especially liked the way that your poem flowed, and the pure simplicity of your words. Could you please read some of my work (especially my poem "Deceit"), rate and tell me what you think?
