Silence MAG

As the light mellows away
darkness comes to pass
leaving every soul stunned,
topped, motionless. No words
are said because there are
none to be told. No one
knows when the silence
will end. All happiness is
gone and all time has
been stopped. Street lights
glaring, suspicious tearing.
All wait for dawn to break
for the clock to strike
for the silence to end.
Still standing, still waiting,
Still silence.
