The Five Senses

If you’re seeing,
but not putting the pieces together.
If you’re hearing,
but you’ve never really listened.
If you’re picking up a scent,
but not the right one.
If you’re tasting,
but everything’s sour.
If you’re touching,
but never truly feeling.
Then,
are you seeing the beauty in life?
The symphony of music?
The scent of a rose?
The sweetness of chocolate?
The gentleness of a baby’s skin?
Then,
are you really living?
are you really living?

Wow.  You ask for critiques, but I really have none.  My only criticism is that the question at the end doesn't need to be repeated.  Once would be enough to make it resonate with the reader.  Other than that, this is beautiful!  I love the message behind this as well as the gorgeous imagery your descriptive words give off.  Keep writing!
