The Truth
There's that girl, she's the one
Who's never had a date.
She's never even held a hand,
Not since she was eight.
Sure, we all feel bad for her,
But there's nothing we can do.
There's no one with to set her up,
Unless he's from the zoo.
It's not like she's not pretty,
She's just a little blah.
And boys these days, as we all know,
Like girls who say "Ta-Da!"
The boys all look for sleazy-
Easy girls to please.
They'll try to kiss him in his car,
Unless he hides his keys.
But this girl won't try that.
No, she's too scared and shy.
Let's face it, we all know it:
She'll never get a guy.
In case you all are wondering
Who this poor young girl may be,
Take a look at the author's name
And you'll see that she is me.
