On and On

On and on I try
but I don't know why
there is no treason
save the fear of treason
It's not the standing up we lament
it's the sitting down we can't forget
the struggles we carry with us
and the victories we celebrate
the failures shall inspire us
we are kings of our fate
but imprisoned by our own power
we'd rather sit behind bars of comfort
and cower
than tower above the others
On and on I try
but I don't know why
