There is a man a woman loves
That reciprocates these feelings
But alas their love is hindered so
For her father is not endearing
He does dislike this younger lad
But she pleads to her father this love
He says to her that’s just too bad
Simple love is not enough
So they go off and become wed
Without her father’s blessing
At first he grows upset and red
And then he stops his fussing
And he learns just to accept it
So that she won’t feel rejected
