"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."-Dr. Seuss

I wonder often
And often I do
Under my apple tree
On a sparkling night of dark blue
And wonder about things
That I see everyday
I wonder how to look at them different
And I do see them a different way
I wonder a lot
And wonder I do
what I discover
Is something quite odd and new
I wonder more everyday
More than anybody I know
And I wonder as I walk
If they wonder as they go
I wonder sometimes
And wonder I do
And when there is nothing to wonder about
I wonder about you

The author's comments:
I wrote this one day as a sort of reflection on how children think. It just struck me how innocent children are and how magical the world around them seems to be. And the more I thought about it, the more I tried to imagine how a child would. This poem is extremely special to me for that reason.
