My Cage
We stayed up late and we watch old movies
She sits on my lap and just kept on talking
Her long blonde hair is in my hands
I just want to keep all of her
We laid under the big blue moon
She pointed to the stars and just kept on talking
But wasn't ever looking at the stars
The moonlight shined on her pail skin
I shield her from the worlds evils
To keep her just the way she used to be
I won't let them take her smile
I don't won't her to end up like me
When she's safe I'll keep her to myself
And now everything is just perfect
So I ask her "why aren't you happy"
She said "let me out of your cage"
