Completely Broken
An hour ago, I went outside
And danced in cleansing rain,
In torn-up soccer shorts
And a ratty old shirt
That I had tie-dyed in
The seventh grade.
I came back soaked
And looking like complete crap.
feeling like complete crap.
But washed away was the
Stuff I’m too scared to think about.
And I just twirled around
Not even caring when
I twirled too far and
Fell into the pool.
Sometimes, it crosses my mind
That in the end, I might not always be
So completely broken.
