Yet, we pretend

Atoms
Molecules

Matter
Matter - that is what we are.
We can break ourselves down into something to which there is nothing left.
We’re simple, yet, we pretend to be complicated.
Our bones...
flesh.
Skin.
White.
130 pounds of matter.
150 pounds of thoughts, opinions, love, hate, compassion, lust, anger, intelligence, and insight.
Simplicity - that is what we are.
Yet, we pretend to be complicated.
What are we but simple beings?
Yet, we pretend to be complicated.
Creatures of habit.
Creatures of being.

Thank you! I'm glad I got my message across without being too formal about it.
