Regret
My eyes can't meet yours
Yours so loving against mine so undeserving
They creep into my soul with every blink
Heat builds from my toes to my scalp and I implode
To manage to imagine if things were different between your eyes and mine
Ignites an inevitable amount of remorse
Coursing through my veins
I am suffocating, starting to choke
Gasp goes my throat as I scavenge for air
I'm about to crumble
I don't ask you to save me
I deserve this
I deserve so much worse than this
You although never deserved any of it
It for which I will never forgive myself
