Darkness

darkness is progressively swallowing me down
its piecing eyes are staring into my soul
fortunately my animosity is strong enough to survive
but how much longer is can withstand the darkness
the white light of hope diminished long ago
so is hate the only thing that keeps me alive?
makes you wonder if anyone saw this coming
the darkness is creeping closer now
perhaps its best to let is consume me
when there is only hate in the world
what else is there to live for?
