I don’t know,
I guess the future
just got brighter.
One moment I was
damaged- a necklace of shells
held together with hope
and glue, with the string
shoddily fraying.
The next;
a conduit for
lightning and desire.
Electrified with
possibilities of
me-a fathomless
dreamscape
exponential in
life.
All of a sudden,
I realized maybe,
I’m not just
me,
I’m more.

I am not afraid to say I have flaws, am ugly, am different. But I'm blood and bones, skin and heart.
