Our world and the Spirit Realm have been thinly veiled. The only separation is people simply ignore the spirits and demons. That was in the beginning, now ghosts can pick and choose who sees them. Who can or cannot help them. The specter called Elizabeth peered over the cliff about to repeat her continuing death. She took a second to look away from the jagged rocks and looked a long and warm stare into my frozen eyes. After turning back she didn't jump like I had expected, but instead she slowly floated toward the setting horizon until I could only see a blur. Then she was gone.
