For you

Across an ocean, across a sea
Lies a place, for you
Not me
Faith filled days
And sleepless nights
Heartbreak moments
Stupid fights

Wait for me please love, wait for me my dear
For I will come to thee
Fighting through my fear

But let us know the sacrifices, we shall have to make
For family and friendships, how they will be at stake

Wait for me my dear one, wait for me please love
For every morn that comes to thee
Brings the rising of the sun

Tick, tock

The ticking of the clock brings us closer every day

Tick, tock

The ticking of the clock, never ending, will forever mock

Wait for me please sweetheart, wait for me my love
For far away as we may be, we will rise above

Wait for me my sweet
And we shall show the world
A love so brave and endless, crowds will rise to their feet

I understand the worry, I understand the pain.
The scepticism and contempt
The chagrined notion of what’s sane

But wait for me tomorrow and the next day and the next
Wait for me through all the storms and let us not be vexed

The moon is bright on my side but sun doth shine on yours
I’m looking for a reason but cannot find the cause

Wait for me and stay with me
Don’t let our love stop here
For I will cross the sea
If you will lend your ear

I am coming for you soon.
I will find a way

But wait for me and wish for me
On every shooting star
Sometimes though, I know, you are just so far

The silver threads entwining us are neither here nor there
For every beat of your heart brings me further from despair

So wait for me my soul mate, you’re taking up my chest
Your heart is beating for us both, it shall never rest
Please wait for me my darling; we have no need to run
And together, you and I are nothing if not one

So wait for me or come to me
For I will try my hardest
And if you could try your best?
Then maybe, just possibly
Destiny will sort out the rest?
