The lake
When the weight of the world, the stress of the day, the memories of arguments with close friends that leave mental cuts deeper than the blackest abyss in the darkest seas. When everything feels far to great for any human to handle.
I go the a location on a lake that was revealed to me in my childhood by my father.
When i stare into the waves as they raise onto the the shore and then retreats back into the body of water from where it came from. These waves remind me of the thoughts that pass through my mind. They wash inside my head then they leave the shore of my past as easily as they were received.
As if you can relieve the grudge that was bestowed upon you and your closest friend.
The weight of the worlds is relieved from your shoulders and you feel so lightened as if you are truly on top of the world.
