My Misty Lullaby
Misty sweet lullaby late in the night
Dreaming away this life of tragedy
Hopeful wandering through your peaceful darkness
I can’t get enough of your night
I need nothing when I have this
And without it there is nothing that moves me
I miss it now as my brown eyes witness their love
Will you ever understand?
I am bewitched with wonder by the misty lullaby
You are so unaware
For that I truly suffer relief
Through the blinding mist I see a darkness
Two
One has been with me before
My nightmare, my pain, my past
The other my beautiful rescue
I am a small child again as I run full of hope I am eager
Too eager
I long for my misty lullaby to come save me once again
