I Wish I Were Dreaming

I wish I were dreaming
If only that magical feeling
The sweet comfort of dreams
Was with me always

I wish it wouldn't end so suddenly,
So abruptly,
And I would stay there,
Forever

I wish I were dreaming because
In a dream everything is perfect
And even when it's not
I can change it

I wish I were dreaming because
The real world is scary
It's big and so real
And sometimes,
There's nothing I can do but,
Wish that I was dreaming
