Favorite Quote:
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.
Audrey Hepburn

I cry while the rain pours down
But even without the rain I will drown
Because the rain from my eyes comes down just as hard
I can't run away and find shelter from my tears
and I can't run away from all my fears
They all just stay hidden inside Only being dealt with within my mind
They seem to find a way to climb to the surface
always just making me nervous
That someone is going to see
and ask what is wrong with me Because I don't want anyone to know
what I myself don't want to show My weaknesses, what makes me fall, why I have put up this wall
In my tears I will drown
As all the while the rain pours down.

The author's comments:
I like this poem because it really expresses what I felt at this time and place. I felt like I needed to hide everything and that all my bad feelings were there to stay. I also felt like I just coulndn't run away from all the things that were going wrong.

Beautiful!  I think we have all felt this way at one time or another.  Well done!
