Seventeen years and you still look at me with endearment in your eyes
A gentle smile on your lips that indicates excitement and surprise

Smelling like you always have, like sleep and laundry detergent

You were always there ready to hear me cry and wisk away my tears

Everynight when you smile at me
Seventeen years and you still lay awake with me at night and worry about tomorrow
