Abyss

My insides are frozen,
I stare into an empty abyss,
not that of hell,
but possibly a brother of it,
there is no heartbeat,
simply a manufactured equivalent to one,
no tears fall,
if they did,
they would fall into this abyss,
that I'm quickly falling in,
with no escape,
no hope,
I fall,
into the abyss...
