Sleipnir with your feet of many,
will you fill our Horns of Plenty,
and give us baskets full of gold,
and days of harvest even though it's cold?

Sleipnir with your tail of black,
will you carry us with your long, strong back,
and let us ride safely through any attack,
and gallop down our long, dirt track?

Sleipnir with your neck so strong,
will you sing us your magic song,
and bring us our rain we've waited so long,
and remain with us even when we hear the sound of life's gong?

The author's comments:
A Sleipnir is a mythological horse with eight legs. I chose this creature because of its symbol of strength and because of my equestrian background.
