who am I?
i Am not a thought
nor a feeling
although soMe people like to associate me so

i cannot be Generalized
nOr can i be summarized
but i can be forgotten

i am louDer in action
i am more obvious in words
i Am everywhere you look
but oNly if you look
for me

i am tuckeD away in a cardboard home
in a widow's house full of nine children
i am the secret that keeps
a man with no money Going when his hope has already gone
i am the answer to wOrld peace
the answer to everything you need
but your heaDphones block my amplifiers
they do not let you hear me
Instead you throw me on your bookshelf
and let dust collect on my cover
you ignore my perSistent presence
you say you wouLd much rather be dead

i yearn for you to know me
i pursue yOu night and day
one day, will you finally see me
i wonder, will you finally hear?
lift up your face, my child
my dear one, look at me now
here, i haVe come to save you
and indeed, i alrEady have

who am i?
i am love
