What I really think
I don't need a boy to tell me I'm pretty,
I don't need a man to make me feel alright,
or a dog to feel sorry,
cause I'm all i need and got,
I'm someone strong and independent,
even when I don't feel like it,
I tell myself its going to be alright,
when i watch you walk out again,
when i get shoved down the stairs of reality ,
i still know what i want and going to go get,
even when its as hard as trying to get to you with just a smile,
I know what I am and I'm peace at with myself,
id rather be respected than funny,
and i rather be smart than pretty,
cause its what really matters in my line of sight,
not that silly boy hiding behind a fight.
