I look at you and see
two different people before me
your eyes so bright
they outshine the sun
but yet there's something wrong?
You swear you tell
you swear I know
yet I feel
I'm all alone
How can you do this to me?
I can see right through you
through the gushing blood
to the soul within
but you don’t understand
you never will
So why do I bother?
to try, to hope, to imagine
how nice it would be
to get you to trust me.
You don’t see.
yet I'm writing this for you
when in fact
you don't deserve me.
