Eternal Glory
As I lay here,
Submerged into the warm depths of my mind,
I fail to see,
The ending to any of these dreams,
That seemed so very flawless,
Down to the thread,
And the seams.
As my eyes begin to darken,
My mind shows me everything I’ve wanted to see
For an eternity
The light and it's savior
In all of his eternal glory
The dizzier I get,
The clearer I see
Just what you weren't
And what I thought we could be
Forever lost within the abyss
Of my darkest memories,
To never be revealed
I don't know how much longer I’ll be allowed to lay,
Within this imprisonment
I’ve created for my fate
As I carry a smile on my face.
I don't want to be rescued,
I don't want to be saved.
I want to be faded away,
Like an old picture without it's frame,
Lost with the rest of them,
In peace
