Inward thoughts
You can only lie so much
to yourself
you can only keep feeding lies and curses in the dark
so long
as dawn rises
comprehension will come
no matter if you spit in its face
or blind your eyes with blood
the light will shine
on dark deeds
darker thoughts
black dreams
unholy screams of pain that flit through the dawn like swallows
obliterating all in their path
there is no bind that can block that
no lie
no curse
no wrap to shield you from yourself
when you finally come home over the horizon
