Don't judge a book by its cover

Through the eyes of the London eye,
as I look around and said 'Oh my'
I thought the world could be mine,
the breath taking scenes could make me cry,
but I was brave enough not to be shy,

Haveth thou not seen dark flesh before?
Why looketh them now like sheets of A4?
surely we are all alike in the eyes of the One above.

Let us be free,
make every moment count,
forget about them,
for they are not worth your time.

The eye has seen much,
with the tears it has cried,
the death it has witness,
Oh! verily it is painful,
We have to endure, no pain no gain right?

The author's comments:
This is a little poem I put together after visiting London, it was part of an experience, with the riot going on, and the feeling of discrimination among people towards us. I just decided that the eyes have seen to much, but life is not easy, we have to take it as it is.
