Home Question Mark?
I’ve been walking down an empty path
Letting familiar colors guide me home
Seeing faces that have been missing
As I walk through a world that’s not my own
I’m a bird trying to fly underwater
Say hello, say “I missed you”, kiss goodbye
I’m at home, I’m at peace, I’m in pieces
As unfamiliar friends pass me by
And this bed that I knew isn’t mine now
And this smile that I wear isn’t real
All my words feel hollow and empty
But the sadness – that feels sincere
I’ve been falling in love with a feeling
With a place that I wish I could be
I’m lost in a home that I’m loved in
Loved as a child who’s not me
