Hands fold
Hands fold,
heads
bow with
the
weight of
sorrow.
Tears fall
onto
her pure
white dress.
She
is perfect,
but
for the
long,
bloodless rip
in
her throat.
They
tried to
cover
it with
lace,
but efforts
to
hide the
self-inflicted
carnage
are futile,
as
the image
of
her ruined
body
is forever
burned
into her
loved
ones' eyes.
