Dear Lord I pray to you.
Please tell me what to do.
So confusing is my life.
Lead towards your heavenly light.

When will I ever learn?
My soul is my concern.
You know what I go through.
I know you do.

Sin and demons surround my world.
My flesh, in sin, is swirled.
Can you help me in time?
I don't want to be lead to crime.

Cleanse my soul to be pure.
Your word is the cure.
The devil will never have his grip.
His lying lips I'll zip.

I know I'm not crazy.
I don't want to be lazy
when praising your word.
Please talk to me if you would.

You protect me from judgers.
Wrong-doers and persecutors.
You I'll worship and fear.
And you will wipe my every tear.
