Love Thief
Love is a disease of the mind
 A poison to the soul
 A thief of the heart
Stolen, still beating, from one's chest
It is a drug that all people crave
 Addiction is impossible to escape
 We want it
 We need it
 Dying to reach it
 And once we have it
One is utterly oblivious to the rest of the world
 Eternally trapped in a nightmare
 Disguised as a dream
Adn then the world is ripped at the seams
 There eyes slowly opening
 Being exposed to reality
 As they awaken
Only to discover they had been mistaken
The heart is then locked away
 imprisoned deep within
 And there is shall stay
 Til another thief breaks in
